PS ACADEMY
Getting better needs a system, not just court time
PSA doesn't coach on instinct. We diagnose where you are with the PAR rating, guide the next step with a standard curriculum for that level, and test the result in leagues and tournaments. Learn → compete → move up: that loop is the whole design.
PSA SYSTEM
Four steps: learn, compete, move up
Every PSA class is designed on this loop. It's the system that produces improvement, not instinct.
- 1
Assess
PAR self-assessment plus a coach level test to find your starting point
- 2
Train
A standard curriculum per level (Starter → Beginner → Intermediate)
- 3
Play
In-house leagues and social matches to apply what you've learned
- 4
Verify
Tournament entries and PAR promotions to confirm the progress
PROGRAMS

PSA × PAR
The class follows the rating
Placement is decided by your PAR score, not a coach's hunch. An assessment sets your starting point, and as your rating rises you move to the next class — the coaching and the rating move together.
- 1
Assess — find your starting PAR
Answer three questions in the Playus app — how long you've played, your match experience, and any background in other racket sports — and you get a starting PAR. Self-selection tops out at Gold (4.0); anything above that comes only from tournament results or verification by centre staff. After that your score adjusts automatically from your results.
- 2
Place — the class that fits your level
- Starter ClassPAR 0.0 – 1.0 (entry to Bronze)
- Beginner ClassPAR 1.0 – 2.0 (Bronze)
- Intermediate ClassPAR 2.5 – 4.0 (Silver to Low Gold)
Private lessons, junior and coach certification run as separate tracks.
- 3
Promote — verified by results
Every centre league, tournament and social match that gets recorded feeds into your PAR. How much it moves depends on the rating of the opponents you beat — so who you beat matters more than simply winning.
The PAR spectrum
Padel Active Rating · 0.0 – 7.0
PAR is “An objective measure for academy placement and promotion”. Your rating is your curriculum.
